The History of the Church begins with the story of God’s intervention into human history in Jesus Christ and continues through all major events in the Church’s history, including the Great Schism, the Reformation, and Counter-Reformation. This text places the Church in her context throughout history, furthering the salvific mission of Christ, and explaining the role that the Church, along with her members and saints, has played in shaping history and culture.

Adapted from the popular Didache Semester Series textbooks for Catholic High Schools, the Didache Parish Series is comprised of eight high-school level textbooks intended to be covered over the course of one semester.
All eight titles are published with Ecclesiastical Approval and have been created in accordance with the USCCB Curriculum Framework for Parish and Youth Ministry Programs.
